Surprise Winery Wedding

As a mature couple, Sylvia & Domenic were not looking for your traditional, large Italian wedding that most would have expected.  The couple wanted to have an intimate event with just 40 of their very immediate family.  Previously married and with children, they didn't want people to have to worry about what to wear or what to bring as a gift ~ they just wanted people to come and have a great time!  The perfect solution for them was a SURPRISE WEDDING.  That's right!  Their family did not know that they were coming to a wedding this day!  They thought they were getting together at a local winery for a Thanksgiving family meal, but they walked right into a full-fledged rustic, yet elegant, intimate ceremony; followed by a Thanksgiving meal.  The surprise was pulled off without a hitch, thanks to the services of Perfectly Planned Parties by Connie Berenguer.  The couple's dreams and vision were exceeded!  Check out these wicked photos!

Talent Show / International-Theme Corporate Holiday Party

My client asked that I plan a Corporate Holiday Party with an International theme and flair, so as to foster the diverse heritage and nationality of their staff.  In addition, he wanted to showcase the talent on his team by hosting a "GOT TALENT" show at the party with LIVE contestants and judging.  This was an AMAZING event that turned out without a hitch!  From the colourful International flag decor and memorabilia, to an international prop photo booth, 11 amazing contestants -- ranging from vocalists, to musicians, comedian, magician, dancers and more! Enchanted Greenhouse Wedding

It was a beautiful fall day for a wedding at Madsens greenhouse in Newmarket. This couple went all-out to create their "family wedding" in this enchanted greenhouse setting. I assisted with pre-wedding consultation, day of event coordination and set up of all the fine details -- which which there were MANY! From every little lantern, to the fishing line handing lights in the greenhouse ceremony, Chinese traditional games facilitation and a Chinese tea ceremony -- this wedding was JAM PACKED of heart and soul effort. Congrats to the Bruni's! You threw an amazing event!!! It was MY PLEASURE to be part of it!! All the best to your beautiful family xoxoxo

Vintage Romance Wedding

This couple was looking for a high end wedding look on a young couple budget.  I completely got the brides vision and style from the first time I met her!  Lace, blush pink, soft chiffon, peony's and all things shabby chic are what we was looking for!  They saved some money going with a more affordable banquet facility so that they could spend on their decor.  I assisted with every detail in planning this wedding and making this dream into a reality. And you won't believe how much they spent on this wedding!!!  You can't afford NOT to have a wedding planner when you get the cost saving tips and tricks that experience provides!

Completely Non-Traditional Halloween Haunt Wedding

This event will go down in history as the most unique event to date that I have planned.  The bride and groom contacted me a few months before their wedding date to get some help wrapping together the details for their special day and also to provide day of event coordination services and provide some vendors that were still required.  The couple had taken on a lot more then they could chew, having rented out a local community centre to save money and pull together "the Halloween party of a lifetime" for their friends.   A good time was a MUST!   I was happy to help them see their vision through by providing decor consultation, day of event schedule assistance, day of event coordination, set up, take down, delivery services, provided a bartender and much much more!

Big Fat Italian Wedding :)

The bride and groom were looking for turn-key full event planning & coordination services for their special day. With a guest list of 500+ people and a fine taste for elegant decor, entertainment and all the bells and whistles; this was a dream event to plan in terms of covering all facets to create a true dream day. From elaborate, tall feather centerpieces, kings table, tons of rental decor pieces, hip hop dance team entertainment, candy bar, over 200 candles, hundreds of red roses, full length mirrors, bling...bling.. and more bling, this wedding encompassed "the full sha-bang!" that one can image for their special day.

Simple 'N Sweet Shabby Chic Wedding

This bride had all her ducks perfectly lined up :)   She had planned every last detail of her special day, but needed that "best-friend"-like person to see her vision through.  Someone she could rely on.  She also needed a special hand ensuring that guests were "well behaved" and seeing that everyone was able to get home safely.  I was happy to assist with rehearsal & ceremony coordination as well as day of event coordination.  Once the party was well underway and the bride and groom were happily on the dance floor, my job for the night was over.  Simple 'N Sweet event coordinating at its finest!

Extreme 13th Birthday Party

The "guest of honours'" mother contacted me over a year in advance of the event date.  Her daughter was turning 13 on September 13, 2013 so she considered that a really special "champagne birthday" worth celebrating.  She wanted it to be a night that her daughter would always remember and an event that all her friends would talk about for time to come.   She needed turn-key event planning services as well as day-of coordination to pull it off on budget and keep it a surprise.  Besides the clients favourite colour being aqua blue, I wasn't given too much info on what she wanted, but I came up with the concept of a "Much Music-style" dance party which featured: the guest of honors' arrival in a Red Corvette! while her 100 guests chanted her name outside to greet her, VIP pass party invitations, posters,  a DJ dance party, a "fun foods" extravaganza; complete with popcorn machines, cotton candy machines, vintage candy sweet table, glow sticks, photo booth with props area, a video presentation and of course her very own cell phone as her gift ;)

Surprise 25th Wedding Anniversary Party


My client contacted me a month before the event date. She had started the planning process on her own, however as the date fast approached she realized she was a little in over her head with things to do, lots to still coordinate, vendors required and no time as a student ~ especially when you live with your parents who you are trying to plan the surprise for! I was able to quickly pick up from where she left off to finalize all her rentals, vendors, day of schedule, decor, entertainment and more!
